Wenger practically confirms January signing, but ‘cannot announce' it yet
Arsene Wenger has all but confirmed Mohamed Elneny's January switch to Arsenal with his recent comments, and suggests he's going to be very 'busy' this winter (via Sky Sports). The Frenchman is known for keeping tight lipped with regard to transfers, which means he can often be seen flip flopping from day to day. He will usually deny a rumour for as long as possible, only admitting interest when the deal has become common knowledge. This is exactly what he's done with FC Basel midfielder Elneny, insisting just a few days ago that there was 'no truth' behind the rumours.
