Newcastle make £18m offer to sign 31-goal Arsenal target
Newcastle United are said to have made a verbal agreement to sign Arsenal target Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon, Express reports. The 24-year-old has been linked with a host of clubs during the summer as well as the January window after impressing last season in the Ligue 1. He featured 40 times in all competitions for his side last term, scoring a total of 31 goals while providing another eight assists. However, the Gunners could now miss out on the opportunity to acquire his services following the proposed £18.3million offer made by the Magpies.
