Arsenal boss keen on Ligue 1 sensation
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is keeping an eye on impressive Lyon centre-back Samuel Umtiti, according to reports from The Metro. The 21-year-old enforcer has been a regular for the Ligue 1 leaders so far this season, with his commanding performances key to the Stade Gerland outfit’s lofty position. Although Wenger added Brazilian star Gabriel Paulista to his ranks in January, a move for a new defender is thought to be an option in the near future, with Per Mertesacker’s dip in form a concern.
