Per Mertesacker Admits Arsenal Disappointed With Liverpool Draw
It has been revealed that Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker was pleased at earning a point in the clash against Liverpool on Wednesday night. Arsenal squandered a great chance of increasing their lead at the top of the Premier League table after managing a 3-3 draw against the Reds at Anfield. The Gunners faithful were left disappointed following the game as victory was snatched from them in the last minute by Joe Allen's volley but despite the late blow, Mertesacker has insisted that Arsenal were content with the way they played for the majority.
