Aston Villa Locked In Talks With Arsenal's Mathieu Debuchy
It has been revealed that Aston Villa are in advanced talks for Arsenal fullback Mathieu Debuchy. The Birmingham Mail claims that the 30-year-old has agreed to stay in England after initially planning on a move abroad until the end of the season. With Alan Hutton currently injured, Villa manager Remi Garde is keen to bring the French international to the club, and help in their relegation battle. Debuchy has made just seven appearances in all competitions this season and featured just twice in the Premier League.
