Arsenal To Challenge Liverpool For Athletic Bilbao's Inaki Williams
Reports have emerged claiming that Arsenal will challenge Liverpool for Athletic Bilbao striker Inaki Williams. According to the Daily Mail, the Spain Under-21 international has a £15.3million release clause in his contract and Jurgen Klopp has been keeping a close eye on the Bilbao-born 21-year-old. Liverpool have competition, however, after Arsenal scouts were sent to Villarreal to watch Williams on Wednesday as he scored in a 1-0 away win in the Copa del Rey. Arsene Wenger is a fan and is mulling over a January swoop for the youngster, though Bilbao do not want him to leave.
