Arsene Wenger has always been reticent to recall players sent out on season long loan deals. However, Arseblog News is wondering whether Mathieu Debuchy's imminent departure might see the boss retrieve Carl Jenkinson from West Ham to provide cover for Hector Bellerin. The 23-year-old, whose dad sang backing vocals on Bonnie Tyler's ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart', is currently undertaking a second spell at Upton Park but has fallen down the Hammers' defensive pecking order after a rocky spell of form earlier in the season.
