Spanish giants snubbed as Arsenal agree £31.5m deal
Jack Wilshere is yet to make a single appearance for Arsenal this season, but has still been handed a bumper new contract to keep any potential suitors away, as reported by the Daily Star. The England international is once again struggling for fitness, and we've been without him since he injured himself in training ahead of the Community Shield at the start of the campaign. He clearly still has Arsene Wenger's faith though, and whenever he's fit he gets handed regular first team football. The 24-year-old is yet to realise his massive potential, but we're all still hopeful he will get over his injury issues and become the player he was destined to be.
