Can spending money solve Arsenal's frailties?
Morning all. Another 24 hours have passed but it doesn't feel much better does it? Why do Arsenal kick themselves in the teeth so often at a time when things are looking good? (well, good ish) I think it was back in 2008 when we were sitting pretty at the top of the league when Birmingham rolled into town. A nasty and pretty much criminal leg breaking tackle on Eduardo early in the game led to Martin Taylor being sent off. Down to ten men, the visitors took the lead but then Walcott, yes, Walcott, not only scored the equaliser but showed he had what it takes when he made the score 2-1. Then right at the end, Clichy gave away a penalty ( which actually wasn't a penalty thanks to Mike Dean.....
