Mathieu Debuchy Keeps Aston Villa Waiting
It has been revealed that Aston Villa are being made to wait before signing Arsenal fullback Mathieu Debuchy. The Daily Star Sunday says Villa boss Remi Garde held talks with Debuchy at the start of the month. While those discussions were positive, the ex-Newcastle man decided to wait and see if any better options arose before the window closed. Sunderland have since made an enquiry but Debuchy is not keen on returning to the north east to play for his old club's bitterest rivals. West Ham could also enter the race.
