Özil joins Arsenal teammate in contract talks over massive new deals
Alexis Sanchez has recently been tipped to sign a bumper new deal, but it looks as though he could be joined be Mesut Özil as well, according to The Sun. The German playmaker is apparently in talks to sign a massive new £160,000 deal, joining Alexis Sanchez at the top of the Arsenal earnings table. The two players are unquestionably a cut above the rest of our squad, and the massive price tags they came with were more than worth it. The form both players have shown over the last 18 months also warrants improved deals, as the pair have unquestionably taken us to another level. It's obviously in our best interest to tie them down long term too, as we can't run the risk of losing either...
