Arsenal talisman ‘demands to leave' after rejecting contract
Recent reports have suggested that Mesut Özil has rejected a new contract at Arsenal and has asked to leave the club, potentially resulting in an Emirates exit for the German this summer, as per Marca (via the Metro). The Metro even go as far as to say: 'Özil demands to leave'. Claiming that he's as good as out the door at the end of the season. This seems more than likely to be absolute rubbish though, and we see no reason to believe the World Cup winner will be on his way out of Arsenal this summer.
