Man United legend believes Arsenal's gain has cost van Gaal
Rio Ferdinand is still absolutely gutted that Manchester United let Danny Welbeck make the switch to Arsenal, and after the England international scored the winner against Leicester City on the weekend Ferdinand took to Twitter to voice his frustrations. Louis van Gaal let Welbeck go on deadline day last season, and Ferdinand clearly believes it was a massive mistake. He insisted he was happy his former teammate was succeeding in north London, but is obviously disappointed with the direction his former club are moving.
