Arsenal linked with insane move for Manchester United star
We've been sensationally linked with a move for Manchester United's midfield veteran Michael Carrick, with the England international's contract set to expire at the end of the season, as reported by the Express. Carrick is apparently set to leave Manchester United at the end of the season, with the club choosing not to offer him a new deal. He's attracting interest from an unnamed Chinese club as well as Arsenal and Newcastle, but a move to north London seems totally insane. Carrick is unquestionably well past his prime, and while he still has a few real qualities, he's just not what we need in the slightest.
