Özil updates Germany & Arsenal on injury status
Mesut Özil picked up an ankle injury against Everton and was a doubt for Germany's clash with England this weekend, he has now assured fans of both club and country that he's fully fit though, talking to German publication Bild. As the report suggests, he missed training with the national side ahead of the game, which only served to increase speculation about the injury. He's confirmed that the injury was not a serious one though, and that he's available for selection this weekend. 'Everything was good, I'm fit for the weekend,' he said.
