Barcelona star reveals previous Arsenal option following summer transfer
Barcelona star Arda Turan has revealed that Arsenal was a definite option if he didn’t succeed at the Nou Camp, according to reports from the Daily Mail. Turan was heavily linked with a move to the Emirates last summer, but he joined European champions Barca instead, even while they were on a transfer ban. This meant that the Turkey international had to wait until January to make his debut for the Catalans, but the attacking midfielder has claimed that he was always hoping the transfer would go through. He went on to mock the Gunners by stating that if he didn’t impress Barcelona enough while training during his ban, he would have probably ended up at Arsenal by the turn of the year....
