Barcelona star unnecessarily critical of Arsenal following transfer link
Barcelona star Arda Turan has taken a bit of a dig at Arsenal, suggesting that he was far too good to be playing at the Emirates, as reported by FourFourTwo. The Turkish international made the switch from Atletico Madrid to Barcelona last summer, but due to their transfer ban was unable to make his debut until 2016. Despite only making the switch to Barcelona this season, Turan was recently linked with a move to Arsenal (via the Metro). He was touted as potentially being part of a multiple player exchange for Mesut Özil, which honestly is a ridiculous notion.
