Ozil is believed to be in talks over a bumper contract extension which would see him earn a similar amount to Alexis Sanchez. Recent reports suggested Manchester United are lining up a move for the German midfield maestro. Jose Mourinho, who is widely expected to replace Louis van Gaal, has set his sights on Ozil should he get the job.
