Arsene Wenger receives support from Arsenal star over transfer policy
Arsene Wenger has found himself under heavy criticism as of late due to the club’s transactions – or lack of it – in the current summer transfer window. The north London giants have been linked with players of several positions; however, Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka remains the Gunners’ only marquee signing of the summer. Takuma Asano and Rob Holding soon followed the £30m former Borussia Monchengladbach captain, but neither of the two signings are expected to slot right into the starting eleven like the Euro 2016 star.
