Official: Arsenal Confirm Deal For Defender
Arsenal have officially confirmed defender Calum Chambers will join newly promoted Premier League side Middlesbrough this season in a bid to secure the 21-year-old some more experience. The former Southampton academy starlet has been with the Gunners for two seasons since joining the club in the summer of 2014, but has struggled to hold down a place in Arsene Wenger's first XI despite initially breaking through as a right-back after some strong performances early on in his Arsenal career. Chambers has since fallen down the pecking order with the imminent arrival of Shkodran Mustafi and even new-boy Rob Holding forcing his way into the starting lineup this season.
