Result: Late Laurent Koscielny goal gives Arsenal win at Burnley
Burnley have succumbed to a 1-0 defeat against Arsenal in Sunday's Premier League clash at Turf Moor, courtesy of Laurent Koscielny's controversial injury-time strike. The Gunners were bright from the off as they marauded into the opposition half, but Alex Iwobi's effort in the third minute was skied high above goal. Moments later, Alexis Sanchez's seemingly goalbound strike took a deflection off Theo Walcott and drifted just wide of Burnley's right-hand upright. The hosts soaked up the pressure and threatened on the quarter-hour mark when George Boyd struck wide of Petr Cech's near post, despite having three teammates in support.
