Sunderland 1 Arsenal 4: Giroud inspires Gunners as Black Cats collapse
GETTY Olivier Giroud stepped off the bench to inspire Arsenal Alexis Sanchez headed the Gunners ahead on 19 minutes but Jermain Defore levelled from the penalty spot in the second half after Petr Cech brought down Duncan Watmore. Arsene Wenger turned to fit-again Giroud, who instantly hit a quick fire double to put the visitors back in front. Sanchez grabbed his second of the game late on to make sure Arsenal moved top of the table while Sunderland remain rock bottom.
