Mateo Kovacic: Arsenal set to bid for Inter Milan youngster
Arsenal are preparing a bid for highly-rated Inter Milan midfielder Mateo Kovacic, according to reports. The Croatian is considered to be one of the hottest young prospects in European football, but Milan may be open to selling him to aid their financial fair play restrictions. The Metro reports that Kovacic could replace Abou Diaby and Mikel Arteta in Arsene Wenger's squad, with the pair set to be let go at the end of the season. Kovacic is valued at around £20m.
