Arsenal to entertain offers for Mesut Ozil?
Arsenal will reportedly listen to offers for midfielder Mesut Ozil if they cannot agree terms on a contract extension. Both Ozil and teammate Alexis Sanchez have 18 months left on their contracts at the Emirates and are locked in negotiations over new deals, although a significant increase in wage demands is thought to be the main stumbling block. According to The Telegraph, Ozil is demanding as much as £384,000 a week - three times his current wage packet - while the Gunners are only prepared to offer him around the £200,000 mark.
