Iwobi Explains Why Arsenal Lost To Manchester City
Alex Iwobi has admitted that Arsenal took their foot off the gas against Manchester City as they let slip a 1-0 lead to lose 2-1 at the Etihad on Sunday afternoon. The defeat is Arsenal’s third of the season with the Gunners now two points behind Pep Guardiola’s side and nine behind leaders Chelsea. Victory looked to be on the cards when Theo Walcott put the visitors ahead early on but Arsenal failed to capitalise on their early dominance and Iwobi admits they let City back into the game. “I guess you could say we took our foot off the gas.
