Arsenal Join Race To Sign Everton Midfielder Ross Barkley
It has been revealed that Arsenal have joined the battle for Everton star Ross Barkley. The England international midfielder has just over a year to run on his current deal. The Daily Mail says Tottenham remain favourites to sign the England international if he fails to agree terms on a new contract. Barkley has one year left on contract yet Everton will still demand £35million for the talented academy product if he doesn't agree new terms. Arsenal have made it known they would be interested should Barkley become available while Chelsea and Manchester City are monitoring developments as they consider boosting their ‘homegrown' contingent.
