Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain agrees new Arsenal contract - report
GETTY Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has verbally agreed a new deal with Arsenal The 24-year-old, who joined the Gunners from Southampton for an initial £12m fee in 2011, is about to enter the final campaign of his current deal. Oxlade-Chamberlain has struggled to nail down a regular role in Arsene Wenger’s starting XI and hinted in October that he would have a think about his future this summer. Liverpool fancy nicking him and are willing to pay up to £40m for his signature. But, according to Tribal Football, Oxlade-Chamberlain has verbally agreed a £100,000-a-week deal with Arsenal.
