Arsenal should sign Riyad Mahrez instead of Ross Barkley - Alan Smith
Both Mahrez and Barkley are keen to quit their respective clubs this summer. Algerian winger Mahrez handed in a transfer request earlier in the window and has attracted interest from the likes of Arsenal and Roma. Barkley is out of contract in 2018 and has rejected an extension to his current deal at Goodison Park. Toffees boss Ronald Koeman is willing to let the England man go this summer in order to prevent him leaving on a free 12 months down the line.
