Arsenal close to pipping Premier League rivals and sealing defender deal
Arsenal are ready to pip a host of Premier League rivals and seal a deal for Bolton Wanderers defender Rob Holding, report the Sun. The Gunners are thought to be readying a bid of around £2.5m this week in order to fend off any rivals, having already seen a bid snubbed by the Trotters. Emerging last season, the 20-year old was one of few players at the Macron Stadium to emerge with their reputation in tact after a miserable season that saw the club relegated to League One.
