Lyon in contract talks with Arsenal target Alexandre Lacazette - sources
Former Arsenal greats Robert Pires, Jens Lehmann and Nwankwo Kanu have urged the club's supporters to keep faith in manager Arsene Wenger. Lyon are in talks with star striker Alexandre Lacazette over a new deal, sources close to the club have told N FC. Lacazette's future was the subject of intense speculation during the summer with Arsenal and West Ham seeing big-money offers rejected for the French international. Lyon rejected an offer of €50 million from West Ham for Lacazette, while Arsenal saw their offer of €35m refused. With the transfer window closed the Ligue 1 club are keen to secure their prize asset on a new long-term deal to ward off potential interest in January....
