Arsenal's interest in Roma midfielder has little susbstance
Arsenal have been linked with a move for Roma's Leandro Paredes in the Sun, a move which doesn't really add up. Firstly, Arsenal are very well stocked in the defensive midfielder position. Between Francis Coquelin, Granit Xhaka, Mohamed Elneny, Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey, there are a huge number of players of differing styles available to fill the gaps. Secondly, Paredes is likely to be extremely expensive, which will put Arsene Wenger off. The Argentine has a contract till 2019, and his excellent performances for Roma this year will be raising his price constantly.
